Therapeutic phlebotomy is the controlled removal of a prescribed amount of blood and may be recommended as part of the management of certain medical conditions.
All Things Blood offers a professional therapeutic phlebotomy service, with appointments available in clinic or, where appropriate, in the comfort of your own home.
Before your appointment, I will need details of the therapeutic phlebotomy that has been recommended, including the amount of blood to be removed and the instructions or recommendation from your healthcare professional.

Your therapeutic phlebotomy appointment
Please allow approximately 45 minutes for your appointment. Blood pressure, pulse and general observations will be checked before and after the procedure, and there will be time to rest afterwards.
Before the appointment, Jaime will need written instruction or a referral from your clinician confirming the reason for therapeutic phlebotomy and the amount of blood to be removed.
